CSM2 - The Second Conference of PhD Students in Mathematics

Szeged, June 28-30, 2012

Dear Colleague,

We invite you to attend the conference

The Second Conference of PhD Students in Mathematics        

        (Szeged, Hungary, June 28-30, 2012)

The program of the conference will consist of plenary lectures by
Prof. Andras Kornai (mathematical linguistics, Budapest University of Technology)
and
Prof. Horst Thieme (mathematical biology, Arizona State University),  
and numerous contributed talks.

The conference participation fee (including the organization costs,
accommodation for three nights from June 28 to June 30 and the social
programs) is 35,000 HUF (or 120 Euro) to be payed on site during the
registration (bank transfer is also possible).

The main aim of the conference is, on the one hand, to provide opportunities
for PhD students and young researchers to present their field of interest and
their results in English. On the other hand, students can
learn about the most recent research areas from the plenary talks given by
renowned invited speakers.

Besides PhDs students, young mathematicians already holding a PhD degree and
advanced MSc students are also welcome to participate and present their
results.

We will inform you about the invited speakers,
submission of abstracts of contributed talks,
and details of registration in due course.
